Nadia Pineda

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Nadia is originally from El Salvador. She arrived in Washington D.C. in 2016 as a part of an inter-exchange program (Au Pair). She moved to Pittsburgh in 2020 and currently she is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh working towards a degree in Biology and pursuing a career in Public Health.  

Pursuant to her goal to provide healthcare resources for minority communities, Nadia volunteers with the Birmingham Free Clinic in Pittsburgh as a medical interpreter. Now, she is part of the CIRCLE Lab as an undergraduate research assistant.  

She lives with her partner and her big fluffy black cat. In her free time, she likes to go hiking, reading, and painting with watercolors.
