Alexa is from Jacksonville, FL and is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. She is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science with minors in Chemistry and Hispanic Language and Culture and hopes to become a physician in the future.

Her experiences as a Puerto Rican American have fueled her passion for health equity and advocating for underserved minority communities. She hopes to use her Spanish bilingualism to reduce cultural and linguistic barriers in her future career in medicine. She is now a member of the CIRCLE Collaborative and assists with any ongoing projects.

In her free time, Alexa loves to exercise, bake, explore new restaurants, go to the beach, and spend time with friends and family.
